I am a director of photography, based in London.
Before moving into cinematography, I worked for almost ten years as a freelance stills photographer in photojournalism and portraiture. I learnt the fundamentals of framing and covering a story running around after protests in central London, trying to avoid police horses.
I won the Young Photographer Award at the 21st National Open Art Awards, was commended in the Young Landscape Photographer of the Year awards, my stills appeared in i-D, Buzzfeed, British Vogue and various national newspapers, and I was press accredited by the NUJ.
I continue to occasionally take select photography and portrait commissions, but now mostly shoot for myself. This website showcases a selection of personal work.
My photography is mainly observational, blending landscapes, street and photojournalism with portraiture. I'm interested in photographs as mysteries and questions.
A small selection of my work is available to buy as fine art prints.
